Jana C. Perez is a professional artist, graphic designer, photographer and former educator. She is currently the Director of Operations at High Bandwidth, LLC, a digital branding and advertising agency in Plano, TX.
Perez's design work has been recognized by Adweek, The Dallas Advertising League, The American Advertising Federation of Fort Worth, Graphic Design USA and UCDA.
Her fine art photography has been featured in juried, invitational and solo exhibitions nationwide including the 4th Annual Photography Biennial, the ReFresh Print Biennial I, as a Portfolio Winner at The Houston Center for Photography, Woman Made Gallery in Chicago, Art Basel Miami, The Fitton Center for the Arts and The Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science.
Research interests include advertised ideas of female identity and beauty, graphic design education, and branding. She has presented research at the Annual Hawaiian International Conference on Arts and Humanities, the National UCDA (University & College Designers Assoc.) Design Education Summits, TASA (Texas Association of Schools of Art) Conference and The International Conference on the Image.
